September “On Tour”
Many thanks to Kim Geiger and her wonderful staff at Tana Dolce (www.TANADOLCE.COM, 310 North Wilcox St., Castle Rock 80104, 303-688-1133) for hosting TWC “On Tour” event for October. Tana Dolce is located in historic downtown Castle Rock – it is a wine bar, restaurant, boutique and spa!
It has 32’ tall ceilings, stained glass windows from Ireland, balcony seating, private nooks throughout and a second floor full bar (that also has over 50 wines from around the world.) Tana means “hideaway” in Italian and that it is! Tana Dolce has a very relaxed atmosphere, great wine, and wonderful food (appetizers to soups, salads, pizza, sandwiches, entrees and desserts.)
Also on the second floor is a full service salon and spa. There are endless possibilities for birthday pamper parties, little girl princess parties, bridal showers, bachelorette parties, girls night out . . .
We all enjoyed our time on the first floor where a duet of classical guitarists from Masterful Musicians (www.MasterfulMusicians.com, 303-670-6756) entertained us with everything from Bach to the Beatles. The Masterful Musicians have musicians that play classical, contemporary, string quartets, wind ensembles, classical guitar, folk, rock, alternative, indie and jazz.
April Schaefers, owner of A New Taste Sensation Chocolate Fountains (www.anewtastesensation.com, 720-205-0268) provided dessert. We all eagerly dipped strawberries, bananas, brownies, pretzels, and rice krispy treats in chocolate. She also does caramel fountains and her latest is having a nacho cheese fountain!
Nicole Shortridge (BBJ Linen, nshortridge@bbjlinen.com, 303-520-24-96) provided linen samples. Thanks also to Julie Kemerling (A Fine Photographer, 303-768-0381) for being our official photographer and sharing the photos on Facebook. It was truly a wonderful evening for us all!!
